Looks like a very informative book. Have really just skimmed it at this point but it seems to cover a large range of critical areas. It looses a star because it is overpriced.

Only good for 3 stars if you're an intermediate clarinet player

I am an advanced intermediate player interested in learning the alternate Eb clarinet fingerings. This book was recommended. The first 156 of 212 pages is so far over my head that, without years of serious training, I'll most likely never use. The remaining pages are a wealth of information regarding fingering, embouchure, reed refining, intonation, articulation, sound quality, clarinet repair, auditioning...all excellent information. $48 is too much to pay for only 55 pages of usable material.
